The Kansas City Royals have traded Lucas Duda to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for cash.

The Royals are covering about half of Duda's remaining salary.

Duda is hitting .242/.311/.415 this season.

The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired Jose Bautista from the New York Mets for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

Bautista is on his third National League East team of the season after starting out with the Atlanta Braves.

The 37-year-old is hitting .196/.339/.364 with 14 doubles, 11 homers and 42 RBI in 2018.

The Chicago Cubs have acquired Daniel Murphy from the Washington Nationals for prospect Andruw Monasterio and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Murphy was claimed on revocable trade waivers, which gave the Nationals the option to pull him back or allow the Cubs to take over his contract without compensation.

Murphy is earning $17.5 million this season and just under $4 million of that is left to be paid.

The Kansas City Royals traded right-hander Kelvin Gonzalez to the Texas Rangers for international bonus pool allotments.

Gonzalez, 20, has spent the season with Kansas City's rookie-level affiliate in the Appalachian League.

The Chicago Cubs have acquired Terrance Gore from the Kansas City Royals for cash considerations.

Gore wasn't on the 40-man roster and didn't have to clear waivers to be moved.

In 49 Major League games Gore is 21 for 25 in stolen base attempts. He's also 4 for 5 in the playoffs.

The Tampa Bay Rays have received another top-100 prospect as the player to be named later in last month's Chris Archer trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

On Tuesday, the Rays received right-hander Shane Baz to complete the trade.

Baz, 19, was Pittsburgh's first-round pick in 2017.

The Philadelphia Phillies acquired first baseman Justin Bour from the Miami Marlins on Friday for minor league pitching prospect McKenzie Mills, the teams announced.

Bour, 30, is hitting .227 with 19 home runs and 54 RBIs in 112 games with the Marlins this season. 

The Oakland Athletics have acquired Fernando Rodney in a trade with the Minnesota Twins.

Minnesota receives Single-A pitcher Dakota Chalmers in the deal.

Rodney has a 3.09 ERA and 25 saves in 46 appearances this season.

The Oakland Athletics have acquired Mike Fiers from the Detroit Tigers.

The Tigers will receive two players to be named later or cash considerations.

Fiers has a 3.48 ERA in 119 innings pitched over 21 starts this season.

Reliever Shawn Kelley, who was designated for assignment by the Washington Nationals after a mound tantrum last week, was traded to the Oakland Athletics on Sunday.

The trade was finalized after Kelley cleared waivers and the Nationals were free to deal him to any of the other 29 clubs.
